Broadway hit Rock of Ages is set to leap from stage to the screen when the movie version is released in 2012. The film will be directed by Adam Shankman. Roger was hired to coach Julianne Hough who scored the female lead of Sherrie Christian, the small-town girl with big dreams. The director said that Julianne’s audition was nothing short of a miracle!

Jeff Bridges Gives Thanks to Roger
Crazy Heart movie was a huge box office success. Roger vocal coached Jeff Bridges and Colin Farrell. Jeff won every award Hollywood has to offer and the film received world-wide praise. He won the SAG Award and the Academy Award for Best Leading Actor in a film. Along with thanking T Bone Burnett, the incredible music producer, Jeff was gracious enough to thank Roger in his acceptance speech.
Roger’s back in High School with Glee
The amazing hit show, GLEE, is still America’s Favorite TV Musical Comedy. Roger continues to teach the stars of the show. This season, it was nominated for nineteen Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, six Satellite Awards and fifty-seven other awards. The songs continue weekly to top all of the itunes charts and outsell just about every other recording artist. There is an amazing new world tour scheduled for this summer, and Roger will be very involved with all aspects of the singing. So watch for the press and come see the cast at an arena near you.

Last year Roger trained Gwen Stefani for the NO DOUBT world tour. She sang incredibly all year long. Gwen has publicly stated that her voice has never been in better shape, and that she warms up every day with Roger’s exercises, saying it has changed her life.

Colin Farrell and Roger get a little “Crazy”
Roger vocal coached Colin for the hit movie “Crazy Heart”. The Irish-accented actor transformed himself into a bigger than life country singing star. The song, The Weary Kind, co-written and produced by T Bone Burnett, won an Academy Award.
